The early bird catches the worm... Haha
The "STARiS" looks like Shenzhen Metro's. I guess it'll be installed by ChangChun Railway Co.?
Might be. I wonder if the "STARIS" is "Made in China", I wonder how long it's going to last...

The orange seat are at the far ends, nearest to the cabs. The other colours in the middle are green.
Instead of curved, you may want to use the term ergonomic.
Off-topic: Copying my post wholesale and putting it into yours was totally unnecessary.
Is It The Exact Same Replica As The One Being Used On The DTL? By The Way, Who Is Operating The Downtown Line? SMRT Or SBS?

The early 'people' catches the 'train'.
Wow, I never expect Bombardier to deliever a mock-up in such a short time, well at least it looks very nice, look the front looks. The LTA livery also look quite nice except the blue lines. I quite like the overall look of the train though somehow it looks abit Canadian to me. Interior wise, the Route Information Display design looks European and I am glad that the fonts and colours looks professional and nice, the STARIS one looks abit weird to me. Route Map Display abit too small, I still prefer the NYC's Kawasaki's one.
The front perch seats is for leaning or for sitting, looks fragile to me. I also don't really like the green seats, wrong type of green. Still the seats, why can't they use those type of seats used in the new SMRT OCs, it's not as if it is going to cost another half a million and at least it is more comfortable. It don't collect dust like cloth yet it is not as hard as rock like plastic.
Overall, the train got a very European feel + Canadian look for me.
this looks like a nice design...and better than the current ones here...looking forward to it...though its quite long...
can't wait to snap some pics of the mock-up train..
The train when i entered, does not have automatic doors, and requires portable air-cons to cool the train, which features is not in the real train itself. The mock train does not have wheels
which is why the word "mock" is being used..

The glass panels beside the seats are all different. LTA staff might ask you for your opinion.
