Post the Do Not Board train for the day! Today's (07/10/2009) is actually 059/060 and it went back to service again at 4.22 pm.Went off service at 2.55pm.
6th October 2009
EWL (contributed by jcqh): 039/040
NSL: 231/232
at 2.30pm, 023/024 went in CGD as DNB
Former title: "DNB trains for the day".
IMO "DNB" is too vague. Every train entering any depot after doing their runs will be a DNB train, thus we can say that ALL trains running on a particular day will be DNB, since all trains will have to return to the depot no matter if they're the 1st or last train to enter.
I think what you mean is "test trains"? I shall rename this topic to "DNB (Test) trains of the day"
what or why are there test trains?
Today's DNB train is 097/098 , at AMK.
DNB train today for NSL is:
205/206 (At 9pm, going towards Marina Bay direction; now going to Yew Tee Station)
Today's DNB train is 085/086 , spotted it on BNV.
I really think the topic title isn't specific enough. 085/086 was on revenue service when i saw it at 5+ at TNM.

I didn't see it at TNM.
13/10/2009
071/072 not for passenger service at Platform A at Marina Bay Station.
RATIS showed TRAINING IN PROGRESS
351/352 DNB on JUR , EWL and 219/220 DNB on AMK , NSL.
today's DNB trains
EWL: 041/042 (EB only) , 113/114 (test train)
NSL : 337/338
When is the train terminating at Ang Mo Kio? (from Jurong East)
I can't catch this train.
Test train on EWL today:
001/002
It went to PSR and then turned around and went back to CGD.
It had come out to serve evening peak on EWL at ~5.40pm.

Lucky train!
349/350 and 351/352 were the first 2 to went off to BSD
Yesterday's DNB train was 069/070 on EWL , spotted it at CLE.
I think most likely it's after LTE, because 069/070 was one of the LTE trains scheduled to return to UPD after service (TRN201-203 returns to CGD, TRN204-206 returns to UPD). I can say 071/072 is a DNB train as well.
I think DNB trains can mean anything (After morning peak, after LTE, after evening peak etc.). Best is that this thread only serves for spotting of test trains.
Today's DNB train is 049/050 on NSL , I almost got trapped inside the train but I got out in time.
ya,like when i tried to take a video on the eastbound platform, the group was on the other platform, and train departed.
to bus and train lovur: you're dispeakable!!
why got train 201, i thought is 201/202 same?

TRN stands for Train Run Number, different from trainset number. It's located at the top right corner of the train ends. TRN is constant depending on the day. For example, Monday and Tuesday are working days. At 6.45am, the train arriving Tampines heading WB has TRN029. The next day, the TRN will be the same at the same time slot.
However, if it is a Saturday, the 6.45am train arriving Tampines heading WB may not be TRN029, as Saturday is not a working day for most ppl, so frequency stands at 4-6mins.
P.S. Different trains may run the same TRN on different days. For e.g. On Monday, 001/002 has TRN029, on Tuesday, it could be any other train or it could even be 001/002 again with TRN029.

Come to talk about that, should we compile a table of which the trains arrive on weekdays and weekends. That way, it'll be way much easier to do train spotting as you will know when the particular train arrives. Agree?
