1) Before Marina Bay was build, Trains from NSL had to crossover to the EWL and vice versa. Then Marina Bay was build to have a PROPER TERMIN:US for the NSL. Sad thing is, Marina Bay station is in the middle of nowhere =P

1 - Yes. The crossovers are made possible for that. At JUR, there's one NB to EB crossover and WB to SB crossover. At RFP, theres a SB to WB crossover, EB to NB crossover.
2 - "Ding dong" - approximately 3-5 seconds.
3 - No. It only shows the train destination upon train arrival.
4 - Yes.

1. Yes. There are adequete crossovers for a train to run soutbound on the NSL to City Hall, switch over to the EWL, switch over to the NSL again at Jurong East, and head back to Ang Mo Kio.
2. A sequence of repeated two-tone chimes which are currently played by drivers manually during peak hours, occasionally.
