Nice videos you have.
My uncle is part of DTL team for LTA and I remember asking him how train work blah blah and he just say he dont know which I honestly think it is a lie.
But hope to get privilleged access to DTL when part of it is complete like father and son go office together. lol
BTW I am very interested to know since you work as part of SMRT team do you think that SMRT is very keen in bidding for DTL? I mean such that must win cannot lose.
yes.. several big operators in singapore all go bidding.. but yeah.. SMRT hoping to monopolised the train network.. i dunno.. if SMRT can handle the new circle line very well.. i think DTL is awarded to SMRT.. lets see.. =)
French plus melayu. Muahaha
In his other video he started at Dhoby Gauht and ended back at Dakhota in about 8 mins plus non stop.
ooo very nice video! :D
Thank you all... i have more exclusive videos to post... catch this space!
I wonder how the Dhoby Ghaut CCL announcement will sound like?

LOL... great... how do you get there in the 1st place?
It seems cool and interesting right. That was my uncle feeling when he was told by LTA to be part of DTL and he is probably working with Bombardier ...probably the train or the track.
But then after 1 month things got some complication and now he find it very irritating... funny right?

But according to my uncle, if LTA award the DTL to SMRT then SMRT will be MRT metropolis right? SBS will only have 1 line which is NEL to serve the commuters and some public buses while SMRT will have all the lines except NEL and some public buses.
This will cause SBS stock to fall as investor feel that it is not worth investing in that company and it may not give a good return since it only had 1 MRT line and public bus service which SMRT have most of the MRT lines and public bus service.
So can I infer that if LTA award the DTL to SMRT, it will pratically indirectly cause SBS to fall?
If SBS is gone, then SMRT will fully be the public transport metropolis than there wont be any competition between the two company to give the bes service to the commuters right?

It also depends because if SBS were to remain as the operator of the NEL, and every other line were to be operated by SMRT, then won't the passenger ridership of SBS's NEL rise dramatically because NEL is connected to DTL and all other lines? And also now the government is developing the Punggol area. In a few years time, when Punggol West LRT opens due to more people shifting into the area, SBS will also have more profit from the LRT and NEL, because ppl will want to go home by NEL from their workplaces mah. Also, SBS still has its buses to back itself up if SMRT eventually buys over NEL. But wat u said also makes sense lah. So we just need to wait and see what happens to SBS in the end.

Yes indeed SengKang and Puggol (correct me if i dunno how to spell) are rapidly developing but SMRT have towns which are more populated like YISHUN and WOODLANDS. This 2 towns compared to what NEL is mainly serving is much higher in term of number of commuter living in the town.
Yes indeed those 2 town SK and PUG are developing fast but compared to SMRT, SMRT still stand a higher number of commuter living of NSL, EWL and CCL.
If you are given a stock and you are asked to choose from SBS and SMRT which one will you choose? The answers is obvious SMRT.
So it is like very high chance that SBS will not survive in long run le with SMRT protecting it NSL and EWL with STARIS system and I do not see SBS doing anything to sort of not lose to SMRT except the announcement system in 4 languages. lol

yes... 3 tracks... but the centre track is not continously.. there's a buffer stop infront of it... its just a centre track for the train to stable (docking).. the centre tracks can accomodate 2 trains.. because in future not all train is launch from the depot.. =) some launch from Dhobygaut theres a place for a train to dock, and stadium... theres a centre siding design to stable (docking) the trains there... lastly paya lebar..

U mean that paya lebar station platform is not island type like the one in newton but like bradell?
ok simple said.. its like amk station but with PSDs.. dats all.. :-)
