Can anyone tell me how to download Open BVE? i try a few times but can't. thanks

may i know the requirements for BVE ?
like how many RAM needed for the game to run smoothly etc.

You need many many files for openBVE. Go to their official website for instructions.

You will need OpenAL, TaoFramework, Microsoft .Net Framwork 2.0 or higher and that's it. (Not really, you still need to copy some files.)

OpenAL32.dll (C:\Windows\System32)
wrap_oal.dll (C:\Windows\System32)
Tao.OpenAl.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\bin)
Tao.OpenGl.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\bin)
Tao.SDL.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\bin)
alut.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\lib)
SDL.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\lib)
SDL_mixer.dll (C:\Program Files\TaoFramework\lib)
Copy them to the OpenBVE folder. Is that helpful enough?

RAM doesn't make the game run very smooth. The video card does. Example if you have about more than 100 MB of Video Card RAM, there may be higher FPS and performance will be better and smoother. (I think)

c'mon. if u have a good gfx card of GTX285 and only 1GB of RAM, do u expect the game to run well?

Should be. I only have 64 MB of Video Card RAM and it still run quite well. 32 MB is okay too though FPS will be around 40-50 fps or more.

After installing you need to copy some .dll files in order to make openbve work.

And you may uninstall the programs once you copied the required files. -
