It isn't even installed in this train.
107/108 today on NSL
STARIS is on but announcements are off, LED light on
347/348's VPIS is removed. Wonder if it is anything new.
201/202 during Lunchtime, was packed even though it was not a LTE train, no space to stand, but air-con is still tolerable.
Is 327-328's VPIS still working?

Yesterday when i saw it on NSL, the VPIS in 3327 doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure if it has been de-activated.
Today around 12+, West-bound towards JKN, I took this Siemens train to Dover from Tampines. All went well, except that at Dover it overran wtf~... It went on CM from City Hall all the way to Dover, didn't know why.
ZOMG but luckily the train driver managed to reverse it, albeit with very abrupt jerks.
You're lucky enough...
If the train overshot the station, and has entered the next block (section), the train is unable to reverse but it has to make its way to the next station... UNLESS, the OCC approved the train to be reversed.. But usually they will have to make its way to the next station.. hahaha..
Block/Section?
How far is that from the actual stopping point?

Depends on the station. Stations with a crossover right in front, the block will be nearer.

So does Dover have a crossover in the front westbound?
there was a train fault on tue 08 dec on north south line around 6.30pm, i was in the train from somerset to orchard and it keep on stopping thru out. T.O announce train fault. after that the frequency was 1mins for the next train. video will be posted soon.
today haiz bad experience was @ jurong east for awhile at 2pm fliming in the middle platofrm with 3 train arriving at three different tracks. train arrive and door open, suay two mata on guard saw me ask me why fliming. i said love trains and train fan in the end have to delete.

No. If overrun a small bit then still can reverse, provided it's still in the current block.
Originally posted by jcqh:There was a train parked beyond the track of Pasir Ris Platform A, which was 049/050 when I passed by it and saw it while on service 3. It was there since near noon, and at 5.30pm it was still there. As a result, all trains entering Platform A had to stop before entering the strn, and shift to RM mode before slowly pulling into the stn.
These are the following evidence:
From bus int.
From stn
I will be uploading a video regarding this, with 061/062 halting before entering the stn, and entering in RM mode.
Where is the video, and by the way, did the train doors opened or not when it is in the station? (Such as a DNB train for passenger to alight)

I dont think so. There should be no crossover between Bunoa Vista and Clementi IF I am not wrong. (It used to be that Clementi is the next station of Buona Vista until 2001 where Dover was added)
Maybe can the mods make a sticky thread on list of trains overrun the station, or moving forward to the dead end of the terminus?
PS: Bartley excluded due to the fact that everyday, every train reaches Bartley, it has to be a DNB for the train to cross over and switch to another platform so as to continue service passengers unless it is a train that returns to depot.

Not necessary as it doesn't happen often. Even if it does, you may post it here: http://mlrts.sgforums.com/forums/2080/topics/372828 or on this thread itself.

Today while filming the bee train departing Jurong East, a group of security officers approached my also. Then, they asked me what i as doing and i said "testing my camera". After that, one of them browsed through my pics in the camera then asked if this was my hobby (seeing many pics of trains and buses) and i replied with "ya". After that, he told me cannot upload to the internet and cannot take pics of like cameras, escalators etc in stns but i think what i took was fine. Good thing he didnt take down my particulars nor ask me to delete anything, which was what i was grateful about.

Same experience with you bro, but mine was at the level crossing (KTM Trains)... Mata saw, ask why I trespass land, eventho I got permission..
Turns out because he saw another person whom I don't recognise standing near the track.. But still... I still have to give my particulars. Damn.

So what is a bee train? Pai seh for noob question.
YTD camping at AMK for LTE trains.
I realised even after LTE trains terminate at AMK, STARIS still no tired of resting, but still even want to work more..
Like after it shut its doors, lights will be off but STARIS still on.. Its starts working from either JUR or RFP showing anything on NSL
Dunnoe why I keep zhong trains that overrun.
Even today for instance.
After planespotting at Xpo, at the station the Siemens came in again.
Then overrun just a bit.
Took 1 min to go to standard position.
Zomg

Give me such luck and a decent video camcorder (Using borrow) and I want to film it. Maybe 1 for reverse, the other is true overrun to next station.
PS: So far is there "Double Happiness" such that an passenger service train has either overrun for 2 stations consecutively or overrun 2 stations cumulative within the day?

I got kenna b4 leh!
Last time, I still remember, it was raining heavily and under CM(West-bound). Then the driver was like overrunning practically every stop from Tanah Merah to Paya Lebar. Luckily it was off peak and freq was 6 min at that time. That was about 3 years ago.
Yeah. It has happened b4.
