As in make the DTL terminus to Yew Tee station... But i dont understand why BP residents are still complaining when they have buses like 190, 700, 960, 171 or even 966.. quite accessible to many places ..

You are wrong in that Bukit Panjang LRT and Bukit Panjang MRT (DTL) are not interconnected within the paid zones. So it is technically not an interchange. (If BP MRT can be interchange with BPLRT, why not also interchange with 10 Mile Junction as it is between the both.) This is why the RTS is so suck man!

The LTA said BPLRT and BPMRT interchange. "Next Station, Bukit Panjang Interchange".

But wikipedia did not said it. Well, we shall see because at least the inital plan was not.

+1.
If I, I will decide to Bukit Panjang Station continue (extension) to Yew Tee. The depot so many distances away from BPJ... Let's make a station near it better.
Example:

Example:
Coz Woodlands Road after KJE had LOADS of space there. Before the construction was built, that place was full thick of forest and deserted..

Example:
I dont think it will go Yew Tee. I think it will extend along Woodlands Road to Kranji. How about in future got Gali Batu station and Old Fort Factory Station apart of Kranji station.

if they are going to ever built a gali batu station, then they have to built a kim chuan station first.
to confirm - rochor station is located next to sim lim square; in front of the LaSalle college. my site is set-up & we've started diaphragm walling works there now. for info, little india DTL2 station is located in front of the LTA under the s/b carriageways of Bukit Timah Road

i dun even think DTL 2 is extended to kranji or yew tee etc
bukit panjang station is DT1... if they wanna extend, they have to renumber the station ?
renumbering isnt really an issue, not for me really because i dont remember stations by their codes
but since bukit panjang station is DT1, it means that there wont be an extension in the long run
most likely, there will be quite some red tape before the real decision to extend the line i.e. a feasibility study etc; at the current moment, it doesnt seem feasible for a northward extension

But based on the schematic maps, there is a sector that leds to the dead end apart of leding to depot tracks. So I will still think that maybe 20 years or more after the commence of DTL Stage 2, then they will extend it to Kranji.
However, the main thing is that the stretch there basically is unused land, and they can even choose to built a cut box tunnel for DT4 (Skipped station), so as to avoid any more Woodleigh / Bukit Brown issue, I see no reason why they should built a station in an even more ulu place. So, in order to have a Kranji Extension, it should have built the Sungei Kadut station on NSL as well (I mean the timeframe proximity).
I know they can choose not to build Gali Batu Station.
I think we can create this thread like another 3 yrs or more
