DT4 will be at the junction of Hume Ave and Upper Bukit Timah Rd. There is an option in the tender to build a cut and cover box.
looks great to me
but it's not really necessary since DTL2 is gonna take a few years to complete...the more practical one is DTL1 which will open concurrently with circle line marina bay extension i guess
i heard that bayfront may be a cross-platform interchange with circle line; true?

I believe it is a cross platform interchange at Bayfront.
the only question is at Promenade, since the original intention was to build the DTL interchange at Nicoll Highway.
they seem to be suggesting Promenade is a cross-platform interchange.
Looks like HCI students did get their way in the end.

checked wiki a while ago
doubt it will be a cross-platform interchange
CCL promenade has both lines on the same platform level...need 2 stations for cross-platform to function
so i suppose for downtown line platform...maybe they just build downstairs directly? same goes for bayfront
CCL extension to Marina Bay is now shown. alphanumeric codes for the stations left blank though. also, Changi Airport extension is realigned abit, probably to accomodate DTL3 in future.
if i remember correctly, DTL3 was planned to terminate at expo, rite?
i think the alignment was adjusted to prepare for DTL and the future north shore line
north shore line?

Not exactly, Siam station in Bangkok and Lai King in Hong Kong are cross-platform interchanges without 2 consecutive interchanges. 2 stations just bring about more convenience.
if that's the case, it'll be a little inconvenient for commuters compared to places like raffles place-city hall

That is more for Changi Airport - Pasir Ris - Punggol - Seletar (May connect to Seletar Airport, given it has plans to 2018 and North Shore Line is something after 2020)- Sembawang line.
Which is the DTL code for "DT1"? In the Mighty Minds Map said DT1 - Chinatown and the LTA said DT1 - Bukit Panjang. Which one is real? I will prefer the LTA.

Not real or fake. The reason why DTL was put in Chinatown was because that time Bukit Panjang - Bugis sector (DTL 2) was not announced and given that Chinatown - Bugis is DTL Phase 1, so it would be either Chinatown or Bugis a DT1.
PS: Even now, the LTA map still say that the codes for DTL is tentative. That is, in the end, both may be wrong and Expo gets the last laugh (Though unlikely, I think it might be more on Rochor code changes as it interchanges with DTL 3, which is as of writing, not announced the details.)
a little OT here since theres no thread on the location on the DTL stage 2 stations .
i have suspected 1 station location which is rochor, that station is next door to Sim lim square if anyone knows it.
the area have aready been fenced up , with the NEL little india too which i think a site office is located there.

there is still a chance that bukit panjang might be DT1, after all like Expo, it is also one of the end station

At least, what is now is that Bukit Panjang is coded as DT1.
Reason: It is a perm. end station (Unless in X amount of years it extended to Kranji, which is what I hoped and make it connected with 10 Mile Junction) when Chinatown is not perm. end station (Chinatown will only be terminus for 3 years, 2013 - 2015 is DTL1 and 2015 - 2016 is DTL1 & 2 combined terminus)

I also felt it was logical to build NS19 Sungai Kadut station and make it an interchange with DTL (extended from BPJ).

No, I dont think so. I still think Kranji has more direct connection (A straight line).
Anyway, if there is Sungei Kadut station, it will be NS6. (NS19 is Toa Payoh)
I'm wondering what will it be like when the circle line extension opens. Will the trains run like the LRT on Bukit Panjang, or will it be like Sengkang LRT where the trains will come to a halt to let the other go first?
Why not extend the DTL line to Yew Tee station.. Much better... since Yew Tee residents doesn't have much linkage to town and other parts of spore.. expect the Ywt itself....

A lot of residents in Bukit Panjang complained to have an interchange.
