  Just because, you're afraid that your female loved ones might be touched, be it accidentally or whatsoever, this has to come up? True it can apply for all females, but i think it's too selfish. What if guys start to touch guys, or girls start to touch girls?!

  some japanese women themselves dun like women-only carriage....the perfume so strong sometimes they get blocked nose

  at least got guys, then balance out all the musky perfume scent during rush hour

  singapore mrt cannot have female-only cars la...japan can have cuz their arrangement is in 10-car or 8-car formations

  the ginza line only got 6-car formations so dun have any women-only carriages too (marunouchi line also 6-car formation; no women-only carriages)

  Why u all idiots argue so much for what? just got and buy a car lah. drive a car and u will not experience such problems anymore. For me, i am driving a car now, and i have no problems and can go anywhere i like.

  So just go ahead and buy a car and stop kao bei kao bu so much. A bunch of dumb asses.

  This is simply a waste of resources. My opinion is that own a car is better then don't have such problem. Why bother implementing the women carriage? May be he/she can suggest to the MP. I guess that the same answer would come back. "As our current mrt system is already so pack and the schedule is already tight during rush hour, converting some of the carriage to women only carriage is not fessible."
