I only stared at the PSD note.
Hope all stations will have PSDs up soon ... ... and RIP to whoever it was who died at Bukit Batok recently.
The Note

all elevated station PSD will be like this

So long Jurong East don't have new flooring and JE going to have a new platform.
Took MRT today and while waiting for train at Yishun, I notice that the yellow flooring is still the same as before, apparently there isn't much of progress...
Did some research and found some design for the platform safety gate which might be or near to the design for the Singapore PSD at elevated stations.
Top: Hong Kong Sunny Bay MTR ( most likely the design for Singapore )
Top: Paris (uncertain)
Top: some imaginary PSDs somewhere is EWL
Top: HK Disneyland Line PSD, a little short in term of height...

Same situation at Pasir Ris. Yellow and black metal flooring is there, but no further progress.
Jurong East even slower. Only yellow dots.

Glass doors for PSDs at Pasir Ris have also been delivered and were placed at a corner of the ground floor.

should erect to at least 2m tall.
2m? might as well make it like those underground.
once psd's are installed, no more nice train photos =\

if can why not. at least can make those want to jump down the track think of other ways to die.
they would have done it if they could. too expensive.
Once the 1.5m PSD are installed , we can't take nice train photos/videos anymore.

1.5m is until your shoulder/chest/neck (depending on your height) leh, how climb.

you can take videos/pictures now when the PSDs are not up yet, or just put ur camera on the PSDs next time
It's still better if the PSDs are installed. reduce sucide/accident rate dramatically
I rather they install new PSD for safety reasons.

1.5m is not tall ok. even a teen can climb over it easily, even if he/she is 1.6m tall. to prevent people from climbing, it is better to set it at 1.8m at least, or best 2m.
Climb over it easily? When the person is climbing the others will be pulling him/her down already.
Anyway, if 1.8 or 2m, might as well put full height.
