all doors on MRT are the same size. =.=
its just that the end has only one door for the glass instead of 2.
I know that all doorways are off the same size. I cited that London Underground video as an example on the possibility of having unequally-sized PSD sliding panes in one door set.
For our MRT, what I meant is that the last set of sliding panes looks like 60:40 pane width instead of the usual 50:50.
Originally posted by ignoramuses:As seen in the pic above, the rightmost door is still narrower than the leftmost door. So the door sizes are not equal.
wonder how u all see that the door is smaller. it is actually the glass pane that is smaller, the door, if u saw it carefully, the length exceeded the length of the glass pane.
I agree with kenneth and have seen them in person as well, the sliding portions of the end doors differ from the standard ones elsewhere because they are 60:40 proportionately sized.
Legend:
---- One piece sliding door
____ Full glass panel
_ Partial glass panel with "flashing lights at top"
____ _ ----|----_ _____ STANDARD DOORWAY with the sliding doors at 50/50
____ _ -----|---_ End doorway with the sliding doors at 60/40
Dont mind if someone made an update of ALL 3 stations??

Ya possible. You can see that the doors are smaller. Besides they have always built the 2nd from the end last before the ends.
Anyone knows when the Half height PSDs will commence operation?
I was wonering will hey continue to add more things to the PSD before they commence coperation?

I believe the cabling isnt fully completed yet. they run directly under the doors in a special trunking, which can be seen at JUR station.
heard from SBS1964M that they are doing up the wiring at pasir ris now.
i think they do the wiring before fitting up the PSDs
