this month in May alone,
NSL, EWL and NEL are facing train system fault and as a result more passengers were affected and next train delayed ..
Just now 7.10pm, i waited very long at the EB platform at bugis.... like 15 mins... for the next train to come and was in peak hours...
was in damm great disappointed with the system...
i dunno what will happen to CCL next when it starts operation
They say they got back up ^^
This is normal, nobody can 100% assure that the system won't breakdown.
Even if they have preventive maintenance.

Be the first to press the button ^^
Today, at Pasir Ris, there was a track fault from approx. 12.45pm to 2+, and there were 2 ppl on the track, fixing the track. According to one of the staff, he said that the track had expanded due to the heat and had sorta "erupted", so Platform B could not be used, and trains entering and departing Platform A had to move very slowly.
Anyone was affected due to this?

Not really. But there are 2 ppl fixing the tracks. Train traffic was slow just now (10min frequency) but now the trains can enter the stn normally.

Yepyep, I kenna affected i borded the train at 12.35 Like that-.- Haih, when i reach Pasir Ris Stn, then see the platform so packed then got one train at the "platform opp. whitesands" (No idea if it was A or B) the doors remained shut, no one inside at all, the train was 007/008 (STARIS). Waited for 5 minutes or so then the door opened, all chiong in, then another 3 minute (approx.) the train depart.
WAH, then the train travel sooooooooooooooo slow, walk also can walk faster. Go to the crossover tracks still super slow, started to crossover, no feeling at all, like not crossing over at all (this shows how slow it was) then the train suddenly accelerate then suddenly jerk (happened again and again for a few times) then TO announcement say sorry because the train and the track got fault, then okay already... Alighted at Tampines Stn.
Yeah, recount.
1st time experience such things happen, LOL.

Track buckling.
I was onboard 231/232 today, and at Tampines there was a fault. The "doors closing" announcement was played as usual, and the doors closed. After a few seconds, the doors opened and the "doors closing" announcement was played again and the doors closed. Then, the doors swung open again...This process repeated for 10 to 11 times before the TO announced that the train was not for passenger service.
It left the stn towards Pasir Ris and I boarded the next train (337/338).

i got a scenario where the doors lagged. 7 june, 055 056 on NSL. the announcment played but doors remained open for about 6 seconds before shutting.

i know i'll offence someothers. but actually 2G sux...
such cases trains will normally transfer to bsd for major repair... as i was walking past bsd i saw a C651 but dunno whether is it uncoupled into half
Was on CTE just now and saw a "half" C651 being dragged by a maintenance truck in BSD lol.

I think somebody was still entering the train. So the TO left the doors open for a while more.
