For an instance, i know its basic courtesy to give in to the elderly but i think some are abusing their rights. . .
I've experience an elderly pushing her way through and board the train even though the passengers have not get out which is kinda rude.
The worst i ever felt was when this old lady (shorter than me) slip through to my front when the train was braking and getting ready to open the doors though the gap between me and the door was very short.
imagine this sort of things happening in britain or america, i bet the get into some quarrell
yes, I kena dunno how many times liao..
if for those really old senior citizens then I dun mind but those youngsters its a absolute no-no..
nvm I just let them push their way into the train lor but on the other hand I also push myself + give them that annoyed look against those inconsiderate commuters who barge their way into the train..
plz lah, not say that's the last train for the day or the next arriving train is like 5hrs time..

i think there was someone who was sincerely enough to ask a middle-age lady to take his seat, but when he addressed her "ah-m", i think the lady was not very happy so die die don't want to sit
i kana worst>>the ppl don let me get out keep coming in until i got no choice but to push them..and got one time the cabin was so full until like sardine then got a group of banglas suddenly jump in>>wth then i have to shout at them
yes yes yes.... i alway encounter... those old uncle and aunties.. always like to stand near the door. Even though no space they would still want to go near the door and be the first to exit/board the train or bus. This is terrible behavior. Why so kan jiong i also dont understand.
The worst encounter i had before was at chinatown. The bus came and it stop right infront of me. Therefore, by right I should be the first to board the bus, but then i became the last. Because there was a sudden rush of elderly folks from all direction and within seconds, the front of the door was packed with kiasu people.. damn it... this type of culture would persist for years to come. Hope in the future when the current crop of youngsters grow old, they would not repeat such behaviors.
I get so annoyed at all the newfangled duplicating technology they have in the new trains.
As if I don't know which side the train door is opening.
I have the signboards with lights going off on top of the doors, the screen on top of the poles pointing to door and a voice telling me that doors open on the left or right.
They think passengers are retards or something.

Did u say 'excuse me!' loud enough and no response before u barge out?
bus int is another place where they juz love to cut queues..
It all boils down to kiasi, kiasu. They want to get what they want at the expense of others. Usually, when I meet people like that, I will tell them off. Some will apologise, others will start to quarrel, and some will just simply ignore.

Did u bother to tell them off?
ya, that's why i don't enjoying taking an MRT ride. Most of the time i don't sit but stand at the center of the cabin.....Image you see an elderly in front of you, of cause u have to free the seat for them right if not very guilty. Recently, they promoting something like for priority seat right. Sometime i pondering whether to give the seat onot. So as well don't sit in the 1st place. haha...
I don't really take trains these days - expensive fares, lesser seats, overcrowding, and you never know if that STOMPer is camping for his field day like a carpark auntie for just sitting by the side even when the train is empty. Prefer to take Express/Fast Forward buses, where usually I am guranteed a seat onboard.
i tot giving seats is voluntary since when has it become compulsory?
I dun really give a damn. First come first serve. I adopted this mentality since the "foreign talents" come in.

Hello, not everyone on the train is Singaporean.

But you will agree with me that the people taking the trains are paying for all that "Doors open on the left" crap?
Without those redundant technology, our trips would probably cost maybe 50% less.
And with cost savings like these, we can probably make twice as many trips.
I hate when people wait in front of the mrt doors at stations! There are people getting out but they dun care, they juz walk in direct!! I also dun care, i will walk direct and dun give way as people should go out 1st before the rest walk in!
the reason why i hate train is beacause alot of reasons
1. couples PDAing
2.overcrowdding
3.rude pple
4.gt 1 time someone farted in the train...that really pissed me off
"Respect your elders."

what u mean so i am wrong??
i said it loud and clear and i even held my hand up showing the i am sorry sign..but isnt it the way that they should let people out first before they go in..
I didn't say u are wrong. Relax, don't get so work up!
This is the sad culture of singapore.
Worst is, most guilty one are those middle age and old people.
Do I get annoyed while taking MRT? All the time, all the time.
