Bayfront, Landmark and Cross street is NOT DT15--DT17 according the map at LTA website.
http://www.lta.gov.sg/projects/proj_maps_rail_l.htm
According to the map DT1 starts at Chinatown.

i didnt take part in the survey
i would choose: Cross Street, Central Boulevard, Bayfront.
the other 2 stations i have no preference at all, either is fine to me.
For me I would choose:
CC17 Caldecott
CC25 Haw Par Villa
DT2 Telok Ayer
DT3 Downtown
DT4 Bayfront.
"Also, stations should not be named after public structures, or commercial and residential developments, including educational institutions."
looks like they learnt something from the Hwa Chong fiasco. =p

If stage 1 are DT1 to DT6, what would be the station number after Chinatown on stage 3?
According to below, stage 1 stations are numbered DT13 to DT18 (while DT1 to DT12 are on stage 2), but they may have changed it already.

You got the schematic diagram for any other MRT lines?

How would I know? lol. i know about this diagram, it was in a prev thread. all this not confirm what. im just showing what the map at LTA website shows.
if Chinatown is going to be DT1, there could be 2 possibilities
1. after Bugis continue the numbering for stage 2. for stage 3, the DT numbering continue from Chinatown. means not one continuous stretch
2. renumber everything after stage 3 open if they want the numbering to be one continuous stretch. but what for? might as well dont number chinatown as DT1 in the first place.
another possibility: dont give the name "DT" for stage 3, the eastern region stretch. give some other letter.
anyway, i think DT1 from chinatown also makes sense. since they follow the stages. too early to tell though

Doesn't matter which is DT1 or 15. We'll know when the station is built. :)
Back to the topic, don't the choices suck? :D

The map at LTA website is also not confirmed for DTL. When LTA includes stage 2 and 3 on the map then we will know the answer.
DTL is planned as one continuous line from Bukit Panjang to Expo, I don't think that they will a number a station as DT1 in the middle of the line.

In the past polls, the public can suggest other names beside the 2 choices given.

that is why, dont label the stations as DT15--17 first.
the map is not confirmed, but at least its there for u to see. the schematic diagrams are working names meaning it is even less confirmed.
u think they wont number but they still might. maybe they dont regard DT1 as in the 'middle' of the line since remember from the very beginning only the 5 DTL stations including chinatown was announced first.
i've submitted
Cross Street
Central Boulevard
Bayfront
West Coast
Thomson

The 3 DTL stations on the map use working names too, so what make the schematic diagram less confirmed?
When the 5 DTL stations were announced, it was announced as the Downtown extension (DTE). At that time, they did not plan that BTL and part of ERL will be stage 2 and 3 of this line. They treated this DTE as individual line. But later it was decided to extend this DTE with another 2 stages. These 5 stations, previously on a line by itself, are now on the middle stretch of the DTL line.

yes, i know how the 'continuous' line looks like, and they now happen to be the middle stretch, but so what? it is still DTL stage 1 what.
by saying 'less confirmed', because only those enthu and/or obsessed about trains would go and access these kind of thing, but the map is obviously easily accessible at the official LTA website. and if the DTL1 stations are totally not confirmed, why did they even bother to number them on the map? since they already put it there, what makes u think when the stations open in 2013 they cannot use the numbers given there?
theres no room for pointless debate on this kind of thing. one thing for sure is, the alphanumeric codes are not yet confirm, so dont label the stations with the numbers, unlike the CCL which are already confirmed.
I thought that CCL stn names are alr confirmed...
ya, the CCL confirmed except west coast and thomson, because previously they didnt plan to complete and open these stations then they changed their mind
