Pre-refurbishment of Siemens C651

  It's very easy to differentiate C651s from the rest...

  The engine sounds lor... I love it =)

  237/238 spotted on EWL today @ 1115hrs..

  had signs pasted on the windows & doors - no entry sign together with the words "test train"..

  If you see carefully, the C151s had their window panes replaced but not the door panes. There is an outstanding difference. If C651s have an outer body similar to C151s and C751Bs after refurbishment, should the door panes be replaced the window and door panes would most likely look the same. If the door panes are not replaced, you will see it tainted green.

  they sure change the flooring coz can see so many stains here & there..

  besides, one part of the carriage old flooring & the rest all new floorings where got nice so i'm pretty sure the flooring will be changed but whether its the same as the pic or not then we shall have to wait & see..

  On 17/5/09 my friend and I saw a not in service C651 set 201/202 at Jurong East Interchange platform B , took a video and wanted to upload it but it failed.........

  I think 201/202 getting ready to undergo refurbishment. Everyday on NSL.

  Besides, the new reserved seat sticker has to be pasted soon and STARIS installation has to be completed in abt one and a half yrs.

  Well, looks like the C651s won't be undergoing refurbishment anytime soon...sigh...

  Evidence: 237/238 has new reserved seat stickers.

  the acceleration is really just like music... haha

  anyway, if this train ran in CM, I respect the train operator for braking so quickly and smoothly.

  anyway that's OT. I remembered reading from somewhere that the C651 will be due for their refurbishment sometime in 2010? can anyone confirm?

  Confirm "CM", because Keikyu trains have no ATO to begin with in the first place.

  The 2010 dateline originated from the Straits Times when it first reported on the C151 refurbishment.

  Boarded C651 set 211/212 on EWL , when it was approaching Clementi and about to stop , the train suddenly jerked.
