why does only 311/312(i presume its c651) look like a C151 and not the other C651 trains?tell by the train sound cannot go wrong i suppose, i always do that

yes. the bell chime was nice and used for many years. i think it was first used in the C751 trains when they started service. ya, i also feel its kindof wasted, was expecting it to be used on the CCL trains as wellwhy did they change it? isit because this woman wasnt there to record the announcements for the new BLE stations and the circle line? but even so they shouldnt have replaced the chime.
it seems like alot of people prefer the previous voice. and i agree the new ones some of the stations she pronounce it a bit strangely.

HA, today i saw a train which i thought was a C151, but upon looking at the window frame of the door in the interior, i realised that it was actually a C751B - 311/312 -

I agree with you. Juanite Melsons voice is more natural than the new voice... I am stil hoping that they will replace her sound with the old bell chime. the old interchange announcement were also better than the new one. old: city hall interchange, passengers going towards orchard, yishun and woodlands, please cross the platform and transfer to another train. new: city hall interchange, passengers who are continuing their journey towards orchard, yishun and woodlands, please proceed to platform A...:S and the pronounciation of clementi is awful now...

oh, so 311/312 is a C751B. when i first stepped into a refurbished C151 i didnt at all know it was a C151 until i heard the train sound when it pulled off. -
what is the difference between that set and the rest? (c151 and c751)

her pronunciation of "ang mo kio" also sounds strange
