the C751A trains seems to stop slower than previously and the doors doesn't seem to open automatically (train doors open 1st then the PSDs 2 seconds later, previously both open at the same time). just last night, i've seen the time arrival screen of trains showing the next 2 trains arriving at 6 minutes and 9 minutes respectively. once the 6 minutes train had came, the next train came at 3/4 minutes.
the speed i not sure
but for the door, it always liek this
train door open first , then open the station door
all the while since train start is like this alreayd.
u dunno meh?

the PSDs are opened longer than usual after the train doors open now. the previous times that i have taken NEL, the train doors open already, the PSDs would almost be opened. now, train doors open already, PSDs have to wait until 1 or 2 seconds then open, except some trains. also, after the doors closing announcements, the train doors of some C751A are not closed until 1 or 2 seconds later. previously, C751 train doors would already be closed after the "de de" sounds from the doors closing announcements.

Last time i took a C751A the doors also like that de. 1 second later then open.
Basically the C751A's stopping slower is because of it being fully automatic which allows it to arrive the station at a faster speed and the slowness is because of an ''adjustment'' that makes it still able stop 0.0m at the station.

but sometimes SMRT CM mode can even be better than the NEL 0.0m overrun/underrun.
One thing i know for sure is that when the NEL TO operates the train, usually at 11+pm, the PSD only opens when the train doors are fully opened. If u experience this then the TO is operating
haha this is singapore man how is the psd opening later than train doors gonna prevent insane commuters from rushing in?

correct. if u notice PSD opening much later and the train stopping slower(or in rare cases, faster) than usual then its TO driving. otherwise usually, the PSD will open at about the same time.

true, the SMRT TO experienced already know how to stop exactly 0.0m and stop fast as well. sometimes when overrun a bit they also just open the door even though not aligned with PSD properly. when the trains began running long ago sometimes they overshoot a lot and needed to reverse..
