When talking about trains in Singapore don't forget KTM which links Singapore to the rest of the world. A quite comfortable way to travel. See these interactive panoramas from the inside of the different classes of travel on KTM
hey, are you from the ktmrfc forum?
Hey, yes and I am in Germany... ;-)
Please do note that KTM is in the process of refurbishing its old and aged coaches.

Hi dinie, where was the "new economy class" seat taken? It is actually an old economy class coach converted into a second class coach. From the station beside it, I'm guesing it's the KL Sentral - Ipoh shuttle?

Actually all of the photos were contributed by Kelvin from the KTMRFC forum. Yes, it is actually on the KLS - Ipoh - KLS Shuttle. It is also found on the KLS - Seremban - KLS Shuttle and the KLS - Rawang - KLS Shuttle. Although converted to a Second Class, it has a lot of differences to the current Blue-ASC now.
wow that refurbished new 1St class looks good!! After 17 years the cars are looking already a bit shabby and a refurbishment is welcome. If i would have known that I would have made a trip to Ipoh to see the new cars.... now I have to come back to Malaysia/Singapore soon.
