When do you start to like MRT?

  i'd prefer taking the bus no matter what..even if i can cut short my journey if i can take a train, i'd take a bus instead.

  yr 1996.. Woodlands Extension open.. Started taking the MRT and love the smooth ride back then. last time have to transfer buses.

  i stay beside an MRT station.
  
  i like it when 2G trains came in...
  
  when the 3G trains came in.. i would wait for it to come to my station(tampines) eastbound.
  
  then i'll rush out and take it westbound to bedok.
  
  then i'll board 67(just handed over to TIBS) home. it was a new experience both ways.

  I liked MRT when I was 6 years old and took it almost every weekday afternoon from Lavander to Tanah Merah with my mum where I always seem to get a seat and the train is never crowded. Could even remember my first ride on a C751B. However, when I became a bus fan last year, I started to dislike the MRT on weekends as the frequency does not seem good enough for the demand from weekends after 12PM.

  since the first time i took mrt:) i don't live in singapore but the first thing i did in singapore was taking the mrt from tampines to city hall, change to the north-south line to jurong east and then go back from jurong east to tampines XDXD the last time i went to singapore to visit my family was like 6 years ago.... so i think there are a lot of things that are changed;) I'm really looking forward to go back to singapore!

  hmm.. 

  when i saw the C751B newly came out for service, i persuaded my dad to take the train. it was a quite fun journey.. soon, i bombarded him with questions and such. and now, i learn alot of stuffs from SMRT personnel.. hahaha, but currently, am pursuing KTM trains then SMRT trains.. heee..

  When C751B came out newly I tried to avoid it after the 1st ride coz of the hissing sound LOL. Maybe thats becoz im still small (about 5 liddat).

  before the C751B, did it affect the timing of the train? i mean, i do remember seeing the flip dot display showing 7mins before..
