Yup, i saw 003/004 and 005/006 but sadly did not see 001/002.Trains that are completely ad-less and might undergo STARIS installation next

1. 075/076 moved to section 1 from section 2 on 28/05/09.
2. 041/042 moved to section 2 from section 4 on 29/5/09.boarded 45/46 just now, notice that when the train comes to marina bay , the door opening light went off in both sides...
and in city hall, the staris went off a while and starts to come back after the doors are closed

You sure that 041/042 has STARIS installed fully? Yesterday I saw 041/042 and it don't have STARIS system yet. If this is so, then they must be faster to install STARIS within just one same day...

sure.. ytd i went in to 41/42 when this train was at city hall SB during evening peak.. boarded until raffles place.. and yes the whole stretch was fully installed -
Spotted 039/040 on EWL today.

I saw a train with STARIS operating on the NSL. Not so sure but I think i saw '002'. It could be '008' though. Can someone confirm?

Indeed 41/42 has STARIS system fully installed, but not in service today. Spotted on ewl. (Looks like one of my guesses are correct!

001/002 was on neither lines today. 007/008 was on ewl. STARIS trains on nsl today were 033/034 and 075/076

argh.... i was outside the station when i saw 001/002- mayb a crossover- cant see the int.
cuz 033/034 is frequent on ewl... i tot i see it wrongly
but what ever is it, i hope 001/002 can stayput at changi depot

I have a feeling that 043/044 will be the next train to undergo STARIS installation, as i did not see it ytd, and it is completely ad-less.
Besides, it also went for refurbishment tgt with 041/042, and since 041/042 alr has the system installed, I think 043/044 will be next.
(Similar to the cases with 001/002 & 003/004, 031/032 & 033/034, 077/078 & 079/080 - all in pairs)

Actually what i meant was, trains with consecutive numbers undergoing installation consecutively, e.g. 077/078 & 079/080, and 033/034 & 031/032. -
Sat on 079/080 (3079) yesterday and the system was half working. Either the lights came on or they were off totally. Some stations had the door indicating lights lighted but most did not have. Announcements also had some time 'lag' in between the station name and the message like interchange and so on. Digital displays seem to be working well.

The 'lag' is there becoz the audio had to synchronise with the visual display.

Today on EWL
045/046's STARIS functioning well.
079/080's STARIS not working in all carriages.
031/032 is back in action! Did EWL lunchtime express today. STARIS working well.
