Another STARIS Train?

  Apart from 053/054, which already has the STARIS system installed, 077/078 and 079/080 were spotted today having the STARIS system! But some carriages still do not have the VFDs installed. I will load the pics later.

  Thanks for the update! Like the refurbishment, the first few units always take forever to come out. Anticipating the peak of 4 trains per month.

  C751Bs may be installing STARIS also I think. There're pauses between announcements for interchanges.

  which means the STARIS on 053/054 is a success..

  most likely it will be installed in all the trains in time to come..

  finally the photobucket is back to normal.... can see pics

  former ad for 77-80 was the ABC....

  now they need to remove the ad up from the foor in order to install the STARIS....

  i guess next STARIS mayb 113/114 and 115/116 if they are parking at bishan depot..

  I think only when the C651s get refurbished, the STARIS will then be installed on them.

  Last time I boarded 79/80 leh. I wish I boarded that train at a later time. So the trains that has already installed the STARIS are off?

  077/078 spotted at Woodlands @ 3.05 PM northbound today. I went to board it, even though I'm going southbound. :P

  I have a feeling that STARIS will only be installed on the C651s when they undergo refurbishment.
