I hate it when the train cross over tracks and the train 'shakes' very hard. And in Marina Bay when the train cross over from SB to NB tracks (arrival) it makes a very louuuud sound.

airport one is the loudest of all liao......
The Joo Koon crossover was actually the best based on my experience during the openhouse, it was so smooth, just with small jerks, probably because the tracks are new thats why it's smooth...
the marina bay sound sounded like a ghost outside the train...(er...)
I think those jerks are caused by sudden sharp turns to the right and immidiately to the left (or vice versa)?

i think the tightest turns in SMRT's underground portion will be between OTP and TIB, at havelock rd that part...

The one above ground is at Yishun Ave 1/Lentor Ave.

Eh not Newton to Orchard?

I think the one at International Rd is sharper.

it doesn't even jerk. i can stand without holding to any poles along that stretch. :( try COM heading into BNV, and also BNV heading into CLE.

i think it's newton to orchard where the trains make the loud droning sound.. irregardless of whether it's a C151, C651 or C751..

that one ok la, even though the train slows down, on a fast speed profile it can still accelerate along that stretch! orchard to somerset is tighter than that.
ya lo just at at marina bay... i wanna faint.. JE even worst is even louder.. amk as well
at approching at Clementi station (Westbound), to shaky.. if the TO drive slowly, it will not shaky..

Well, it isn't true. I was taking the 1st train there and the jerk's there.
There was this train that I boarded today, and guess what? The train sped like crazy!!! I dunno why but only this train speed so fast that you can feel the air-con wind going towards you. And the motor is so loud that I almost wanna block my ears!
(BTW, the train is a Siemens C651 train and it was in the underground. When elevated, it was veryvery jerky like hell. It was along NSL towards Jurong East. 223/224.
