SMRT train waiting time > 7 mins no display?

been noticing this for some time alrdy
Whenever one train arrives, the Next Train box is oftenly empty during peak hours, it's only when it's 6 mins or below only then e waiting time is displayed
hiding from commuters the 7 - 8 mins SMRT off peak freq?

actually above 6 mins they don't show.
only when its 6 mins from arrival do they show "6mins"

no lehlast time even it displays 7 mins.. sub train up to 12 mins

1 to 1.5 yrs ago the plasma screens might still have 7 mins and above.Now, dont have. only sometimes, at psr, put there departing in 8 mins.

a minimum of 6 mins can sometimes pack the station up like it's during the peak hours...

yes they wouldnt show if it is above 6mins. go to any train station now. they wouldnt show the 2nd train coming in how many minutes.

for off-peak it's above 12 minutes...

miss the old type of info display..
noted dat when a particular train has arrived at a stn, it doesn't show the next train arriving in how many mins as wat sinicker had mentioned earlier..

lol, i remembered waiting for a train last time abt 7 mins.. and i kept complaining to my dad abt the timing.. now already change.. miss a train, 3-4mins later got one behind xD

i would say, from an entrepuner's point of view, dis is a very smart way, as it helps to hide information OFFICIALLY but not Change information.. with this, it would made commuters unable to be aware of the time waited and assume that it is Really 6 minutes... but in actual fact, may be 8++ or so
Removing the second train is made deir life easier so that they do not have to Fake information.

soon people will want the seconds to be displayed as well.
