I meant the similarities between Singapore's Train's Sounds and other countries' trains' sounds. I found a few:
C651 = R160B Siemens in New York Subway
C151 = 03 series in Japan's Hibiya Line
C751B = Malaysia's Kelana Jaya Line
C751A = London's 1996 stock (the beginning of the departing sound)

the 1996 Stock are bound to sound a bit similar to the C751A that we are having, cuz some of them are built by Alstom.
C751B motors sound rather unique because they are built by Fuji Electric. In Japan, most proplusion systems are provided by Mitsubishi Electric or Hitachi. (http://www.fujielectric.co.jp/company/jihou_archives/pdf/73-01/FEJ-73-01-044-2000.pdf)
C151 motors were supplied by Mitsubishi Electric (GTO-Chopper ver.). Some 03 series also had Mitsubishi Electric motors fitted, so they will sound similiar.
C651 motors are probably supplied by Siemens in-house as well. They are similiar to the Keikyu 2100 series, minus the modulation (the "do-re-mi-fa-so" that 2100 gives out)
Surely Mitsubishi Electric would want to fit the Crystal Movers with their in-house motors.
Crystal Mover = toei mita line 6300 (IGBT VVVF)

C751As would sound more similar to the X'trapolis used by Connex Melbourne, while C751Bs would sound more like the MTR K stock trains.

C651s would sound more like Daegu Metro line 1 trains (Korea):

i don't know sia. worse than squeeking.
audio clip of it
The C651s sound a lil bit similar with their Siemens Taipei counterparts, except Taipei's has a longer "whine" at the end before stopping and the "sharp" sound of the doors closing.
Just my opinion.

C751Bs have 750V Mistubishi IGBT-VVVF propulsion.
