  +1  The faregates should be new cause this is a new station... 

  SMRT Saving Costs.. Reduse (Buying faregates), Reuse (Use back older ones) Recycle (Covering the farecard hole)

  One of the main reason.. They confused Joo Koon and Boon Lay So it become JOON Koon.. "BOON" and "JOON"

  Since they probably recycled the old faregates, and that 1 unit of GTM was removed from Khatib Station leading up to the opening of BLE, it makes me wonder if the GTMs at BLE were “recycled” from other stations.
