I doubt I be going for joyrides on the 1st day of the official opening as I'm sure there's be a huge crowd..
I'll wait for it to be "settled" 1st then I may my joyride trip but in my opinon, best is to joyride when all the stns are officially opened..

The last photo, anyone knows why the tunnel on the left (towards Bishan station) is square-shaped instead of the usual round-shape as seen on the right?
To merge with the station platform?
Anyone here care to verify?
This pic is taken at Marymount Stn Crossover...
I dont think its for merging with the stn platform
unless the station is after the bend.
most likely there will be an open house like what they did to nel as well
how i wish ccl to be opened earlier than may
stage 3 opening in may, then what abt the other stages?
Looks like im gonna catch the 1st train again!

I guess Open House should be around Mid-May

Next time when DTL is open, only have 3 carriage...
should be called: "mini" MRT train (MRT + LRT = "MLRT")...

Its still considered heavy rail by technical terms.
Originally posted by Dark Honour:Since the Circle Line is considered to be a medium-density line, I don’t see much problem with it being a three-car.
Frequency is more important to me than the length. If they can manage with three-car trains along with waiting intervals of less than 3 minutes or so, I don’t mind shorter trains.
I hope I can see the day when the entire circle will be completed in a possible stage 6. Not many cities have a circle line so I guess we’re quite special.
If SMRT is really lazy to spent so much to complete the circle, they can just make the circle line interchange with the NEL from Harbour Front to Dhoby Ghaut though. It’ll faciiliate more traffic since those stations can use either line to reach the station on the same segment. (but I’d rather it extends from Harbour Front to Marina Bay though)
Its not whether whether LTA considers it as medium density rail, but whether LTA had actually made a mistake by planning for 3 car trains instead of 6 car trains, I have doubts that 3 car trains would be able to carry the kind of load which I am going to expect on the Circle Line or the Downtown Line.
