- Affected train was heading southbound
- From the pic in TNP, the affected train was a C651
- SMRT said that affected train was carrying about 200 passengers
- Smoke was detected coming from a/c unit at rear of train about 1325hrs
- Preliminary investigations showed a leak of a/c refrigerant gas which appeared as "smoke" & was non toxic
- SMRT staff were attending to passengers within 2 mins of affected train's arrival at the SB platform
- SMRT said its staff were alerted when they saw smoke on their CCTV screens & TO had also sounded the alarm.
usually when this happen. Its a long stories i would not read it LOL but thanks for the points
that explains why alot of people were taking 143. the line was actually long
