trains disruption at NSL today

went back home from woodlands took south bound train just now..... halted at YCK before approaching the station.. suspected to be broke down that delayed train service for both bounds today..
any comments???

Indeed there was a disruption. I heard it on the radio when I was on a cab going home.
OT: My cab and many cars were stucked at the exit of CTE AMK Ave 3 because there was an accident at the exit and the main road, involving a car and taxi.

i boarded 333/334 at that time... just that before coming in to YCK station.. notice that there's a train hold on at that station... delayed for 10mins or so.. after that that train left YCK and went straight to amk middle track just before the station.. saw a c151 refurb broke down with the window ad abt the pirates or the carribian...and its empty...with few lights on... and when the train i board came to amk SB, saw alot of ppl waiting at NB... after leaving amk it went to bishan.. btw it was horrendous on the way there.. there were 3 trains halted with passengers packed the trains between bishan and amk NB track

i remembered 1 time on yr 2000 or 1999.. i looked outside the window of my house and i counted the trains, and then i wonder, y is there so many trains goin from JE -> Marina Bay direction (i live at CCK area)? Its like bus bunching, but its the 'train version'.. I tink that time there was a major delay of trains coz first i saw a C151 then followed by 2 C651s (i tink) Can u guys tell me wat izit?

later that day, i took a c151 train from dhoby ghaut to braddell. i think the driver oversped and when it came into somerset to newton, it had to reverse.it went 3 to 5 doors beyond. we were just too scared to stAY in and also the train announcement was not even on! eventhough the train ends at yishun, it still does not have to act that way. But, things changed for the better when it left Newton, everything was just back to normal. I personally pity the trains behind as they have to wait just for the train to get off from a particular station. I'M sure whoever was in that train will feel the same way. in the end, from a 11 min train ride turned into a 20 min train ride.

Hey, ive experienced this thing b4 4 - 5 times already. But i still rmb 1 time when i took a C651 5 yrs ago, when this train approaches Clementi station, instead of overspeeding, it went overbraking lol! The train just reached 1/2 of the station lol. Then things get funnier, the man in front of me (which was olso sitting) sat just 2 seats away from a lady, & when it jerks, the man just some-sort accidentally 'glided' thru the lady, causing to bump each other. And wats the lady reaction..? The lady used her big handbag and smacked rite onto the man's face! lol! & its not a joke, its real! -
got one time my train overbrake.
nicely, the door i was at was just 2 doors off the station. train stop there, delay.
this ahpek ran infront 2 doors.
