Do they have to take a course and test like car or bikes before they can drive the trains? I have seen some elderly people almost fell due to the reckless driving of the train driver. It;s very dangerous!
our train systems is half automated, the NEL fully automated
how to have reckless train drivers?
if like jerk or stop immediately, couldnt be the driver's fault anyway.. shld be the signalling...

More details please?
Since it is semi-automatic then the train operator will need to apply brake to stop the train or he/she will have to apply the correct brake pressure to make sure that the train doesn't overshoot the platform.
if I remembered correctly, there's one show titled "heartland getaways" or something, whereby the host featured an MRT segment in a room that is almost like the TO's cabin but what he sees will be virtual and the controls are the same ones as in the trains..
its somewhat like a training simulator..

in summary, something like a plane simulator.
if new train driver, why no P plate shown infront & back one!?
because only trains running unlike roads got other users..

can't remember but I dun think so..
In MS Train Simulator mission. You drive the train by obeying the traffic rule. You fail the mission if you fail to obey the rule like speeding or did not stop when it is red light.
The train will also be immobilize but it only apply to certain type of train.
