Since there are numbers on every stop. I suggest to introduce an ODD and EVEN train. ODD train stops onli at odd number stops while EVEN train stops onli at even number stops.. THIS an reduce the travelling time although increase a bit of waiting time if u missed the ODD train and wanna go to a ODD station. THANKS.
Not good. Marsiling to Woodlands. I cannot alight at Woodlands. I can never get to Woodlands! LOL....

TO GET FROM ADMIRALTY TO KRANJI.. TAKE THE EVEN TRAIN. GET FROM marsiling to woodlands board the odd train. simple wad
theres only 1 fucking track for 1 direction, lets say the odd train stops at odd station.
the even train cannot overtakethe odd train!
this argument is flawwed1!

Great idea... we will do it immediately.
P.S. as long as it's not odd and even for private car then can already lah, i dun take mrt so it's not my problem that u cant reach ur station.. just take a taxi after u alight from ur train lor.

not funny like you have so much time to waste to keep transferring trains and creating useless topics. if other people get to school late, u shall DIE!
then i rather take bus lol.Best is not do this.Maybe get sectors?
No1:Whole route
No2:15 stations from the end and the start
No3:20 stations from the end and the start
This will work like this
No1:C151R
No2:C151
No3:C751B
Will This Work?
AND FINALLY, there's a use of having trains in SG. Not like people here creating useles topics. If you wan to, Go to my forum. There is a place for all crazy people trying to luan gao shi ching(make so much trouble).
And if you to compare 128 and MRT,people will take MRt mah. There's a use of having trains in the world.
pls lock my topic
eh, build one line dat is for this purpose? (as like, only 4 or 5 major stops for that MRT line but it covers the whole island. For example, first stop is boonlay, then second stop is woodlands then third is punggol then fourth is pasir ris then fifth is habour front den go back to boonlay.............
but i think is technically not feasible.....

i know i know...
make two train station!!
than one will will go to the odd/even stations, the other one will just be normal!
if your ending stop is a odd station, while your starting stop is even, you just take a bus to the even station! problem solved!
also include a flying train mechanism so the odd and even train can fly over each other if they need to.
No need for fanciful ideas I guess. Just increase frequency and the speed of the ATO. It is possible to do so as I've taken trains before on NSL and EWL whereby the train is late and hence has to speed up.
Also increase the frequency to exactly 2 minutes (currently it is on average 2.5 - 4 minutes for peak hours). It is noteworthy that the NEL system can cater to up to 90 second intervals between two trains.

The thing is SMRT adjusted not just the timings of the trains, but also the signals. You can stand at a station waiting for a train which comes only 8 mins later and the signal will still be red until 1 minute before the train arrives at the station, when logically, it would be safe after 1 or 2 mins, as seen from peak hour frequencies.
