I wish for any trains with the same type as those currently running on NSL and EWL now.

actually i hope for something different and visually exciting. coz these are the only new trains that are going to see the light of the day!!! the trains for new lines all run underground only. so sad.

Seems like the authorities prefers modular trains due to lower costs...
The Japanese might not stand a good chance if they follow traditional methods, but who knows if a Japan company wins, it might just be an A-Train.
