Announcements are played before the train enters the station. The TV above every individual door (that's 11 x 5 + 1 x 2 = 57 TV screens) will then flash the colour designated to that terminal - Green for Lok Ma Chau and Blue for Lo Wu. If you forget, hey geuss what? At the sides of the TV, there are also coloured plates. Hence you just match the colour of the plate to the colour of the TV to get your train's destination. Announcements and scrolling texts are also played and shown in the train.
Single track? No problem. Bangkok's BTS adjusts the stopping line for each train going towards either Wongwian Yai or National Stadium to stop at either ends of the platform. Green for National Stadium, and Purple for Wongwian Yai. TVs are installed at the 2 black rectangles above.
They've also incorporated the direction of travel along the entire station length. On top of that, you can check the destination of the train from the EDS installed at the front and sides of the train.
Of course, I will have no say in incorporating a new system, and they might just follow what they did for the Changi Airport branch.

I am replying Samuel Lee on methods at Bukit Batok station to show which platform the train will be entering at Jurong East. Don't start spewing your stuff if you can't be bothered to read the previous page(s) to know what this conversation is about.

Its already very fast for such a construction. If you want faster construction, fund the project to have more workers.
The viaducts are different, especially the design part, the old one has more so called "stripes" on it, while the new one has lesser "stripes".
