Yes, via the concourse.
This is the same in Hong Kong if you want to change from West Rail Line towards Hung Hom to Tung Chung Line towards Tung Chung at Nam Cheong, or East Rail Line towards Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau to Ma On Shan Line towards Wu Kai Sha at Tai Wai.

These are the bridges that you are referring to? How do they prevent debris from falling onto the tracks when there's nothing above the tracks which is under construction?

big box is infinitely delayed because the developer (TT International) ran into financial difficulties.
there is no sign of construction on that land, with puddles of stagnant water everywhere and weeds growing out of the cracks from the abandoned concrete base that was built. even the container office is gone.

It seemed that the new platform will be extended and connected to the Eastbound platform so that even DNBs that withdraw service in Jurong East can also use this platform. (Currently DNBs that withdraw from NSL will terminate at the Eastbound platform instead of usual middle platform, probably due to lack of staff to guard both sides. SMRT cannot use the middle track in Jurong East as a shuttle service towards Joo Koon (Since Eastbound trains cannot switch to middle platform and even worse is that neither the middle track can return to Westbound platform --- Only Westbound to Northbound switch!)
So the best is that to walk on the concourse.

3 new points (turn-outs) will be installed starting today....to connect the new tracks to the existing ones...

It is built not mainly to prevent debris from falling.
I only found out when i went past there on the train last week.
It seems that the track will be built above it
The crossover track to the new platform is directly above the current tracks.
I believe it is as there are pillars built around there.

yes.. and check the height sothat the train will passes by easily and did't disturb the train moving

I went past JE today and i noticed they're building 2 news tracks. Does that mean that they are going to remove the current middle platform?

Currently we have two Island platforms right?
So what NickL trying to say is, there's gonna be another one.
Current Island platform is:
To Joo Koon connect with the from Marina Bay
To Pasir Ris/Changi Airport connect with the from Marina Bay..
So total: 2 Island platform...
Island platform, is a single platform between at least two tracks which serve both of them..
