Reduced, not Restricted.

not RM but CM..
Not only in JEMP side, Trains moving everywhere are running in CM mode including tunnel
By this time, Train Camping (at Jurong East) may have to split, on 4 - 5 September, 18 - 19 September.
4 - 5 September
EWL (Pasir Ris - Clementi): Tampines OR City Hall OR Raffles Place OR Clementi
EWL (Jurong East - Joo Koon): Lakeside, Jurong East
NSL: Normally at Jurong East
18 - 19 September
EWL: Normally at Jurong East
NSL (Bukit Batok - Marina Bay): Bukit Gombak OR Choa Chu Kang, and Yishun
"Waiting Area" Jurong East

gg.
the works is really...
It's alrdy highlighted tat from Joo Koon to Jurong East will end up take 30 mins to complete. End up as if dun have MRT service at all.
Why can't they straight away get SBS to boost Svs like 154 to get ppl to Clementi from e neighbourhood?
I forsee chaos at Lakeside tis weekend. Ppl ought not to be there ends up there.
Dont really understand why need:
Joo Koon to Lakeside and Lakeside to Jurong East routes instead of Joo Koon to Jurong East? Very troublesome.....

I think they could try to reduce e disruption at Boon Lay tat leg w/o realising if 1 train rosak, tat's it.
Lakeside <> Jurong East is likely because they're only going to use e Westbound platform. The Eastbound platform tracks needs to be linked up to e new viaduct's track.
Maybe perhaps Lakeside has crossover so Lakeside is made a temporary interchange.
From JE to JK, need to alight at Lakeside to switch trains

they look which crossover nearest to JUR therefore LKS is the nearest crossover track while BNL is further while JKN furthest..
For that time, Lakeside very similiar with Jurong East....
hmm, will there be chaos at Lakeside this weekend ? I havent seen a train crossover at Lakeside before.
But than, Lakeside in the past was used to be a terminal station before Boon lay was opened

e worst is freq mismatch...
Streaming in from Lakeside is another worry - net vol is relatively high.

it located just after the station between lakeside and boon lay. and yes Lakeside used to be terminus thus i used this crossover to pasir ris last time before BNL was open
1. So, Platform A: Towards Jurong East
Platform B: Towards Joo Koon
At Lakeside Station during that day itself which means the Jurong East direction will terminate at platform A whereas the Joo Koon direction will terminate at platform B. Am I right?
2. Every station has train crossover?

I am quite familiar with the crossovers.
Well, not every station has crossover. Some have NONE (Go Commonwealth - Dover).
For JEMP case --- Lakeside itself indeed has a pair of crossover, something like Harbourfront + Pasir Ris / Boon Lay style with tandem crossover over the station only (In terms of Jurong East - Lakeside shuttle). Well, if it is really the case that only 1 train is gonna to serve Jurong East - Lakeside, then it has to be on current WB platform because it is the EB platform on works + current EB from JKN can simply terminates itself on either WB or EB platform by crossover then terminate OR terminate then crossover respectively in theory. (How trains do in Pasir Ris / Joo Koon? U got the idea)
They said trains will be moving slowly. i wonder how slow would it be ? 10km/ph ?
Jurong East to Joo Koon stretch is not affected by JEMP on 4-5 sept but why they sent only a few trains? why cant they be as per normal, 3-4 minutes per train from Jurong East to Lakeside and Lakeside to Joo Koon?

Well put it in this way, they are likely to move in CM + RM (For trains approaching Lakeside & Jurong East, it will be RM)
BTW, it is possible for Joo Koon - Lakeside bound to be 4 ~ 5minutes per train BUT not on Jurong East Lakeside. Put aside on so called only one train for this shuttle part (I think it should be 2 trains, one on each platform and arrives alternatively, but I might be wrong), becoz of lack of crossovers, they cannot deploy too much trains (otherwise it would have been Chinese Garden or even Jurong East - Joo Koon direct)
Futhermore, there is no depot in that particular sector, and hence, it means that trains will have to park in the stations for 1 or 2 nights. So cannot la.....

Maybe tonight after the last train, they will sent some trains and park somewhere between Boon Lay and Lakeside. When first train starts on the morning, it's easier to access from Lakeside.
Let's hope SMRT dun just put 2 trains on this stretch,
1 for Jurong East to Lakeside
1 for Lakeside to Joo Koon.
many will be badly affected

One thing's for sure - there will only be one train from Jurong East to Lakeside
