In any case if really need to crossover at Lakeside, it's going to be a mess.
When did the Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay, Pioneer and Joo Koon stations close?

Never close at all. They only have shuttle service. (JKN - LKS and total 2 trains from both side, meaning EB and WB platform has 1 train each to serve JUR - LKS)
Just saw that the roofs at je are being put into place (the one that shades you from the sun and rain, not the red beams!)

the train from JKN, EB or WB platform? and train from JUR EB or WB platform? making trains run both ways on same platform at the same time, will cause alot of confusion and problems. i dun think one train between JUR and LKS can take the load

According to official sources & my knowledge, it will be like this:
JKN - LKS (Same as normal, just as PSR - CLE) EB direction (Jurong West, Pioneer residents want to go Jurong Point as an example) will board train only in EB platform. As of people who want to go Joo Koon, they board at current WB platform.
LKS - JUR: This special. Depends on trains / timing, there will be only 2 shuttle trains plying this sector, meaning alternate shuttle trains will use the platform. People who live in / at Chinese Garden will have to look at the RATIS carefully. If one side states "4 Jurong East", then you know that if you want to go Lakeside / Boon Lay etc, will have to go to other side. (Unless you are gonna to wait for quite sometime, then I have nothing to say)
This is when the direction signboard that are using presently went into useless as either platform will lead you to Lakeside or Jurong East (If you are @ Chinese Garden)
if i am at lakeside, which platform do i board to go WB (JKN) and which to EB (JUR)?
After train leaves LKS WB, there are 2 x-over tracks, so i cant decide which platform are they going to use
Hope got exclusive annoucement for the JEMP
Roof of JEMP
Before the closure in 2 weeks time for Eastbound...

I can showhand bet on this:
If you are on Lakeside, you go to existing WB platform in order to proceed to JKN. And if I am going to JUR, actually both EB & WB platforms do have trains heading to JUR. (One platform each got a train)
The train will simply crossover from Boon Lay EB to Lakeside WB (LKS do have near X shaped crossover).
Correction: Actually, if there is a JUR bound train in WB platform, EB trains from JKN can simply terminate itself at EB platform of LKS, so in short, both EB and WB platforms will have trains going to either JKN or LKS. Further to summarize, both EB and WB platform of Chinese Garden can go to Lakeside and Jurong East and Lakeside bound trains in Jurong East may appear in both EB and WB platform. All these will be in alternate train basis.

Probably JEMP is a once in a life time event, so there will be exclusive announcement read by the staff and not JM or CHY.
IMO.. at Lakeside
Joo Koon Shuttle terminates at current Eastbound platform
while Jurong East Shuttle alternate platform.. there will be staff to guide the affected passengers towards Jurong East and have announcement from the staff..
Will Clementi station be operating???if not trains will terminate at Dover station?? how would they crossover in that case??

Take bridging bus services....
Train Services terminate at Clementi Station, not Dover. However, those going to Jurong East would have to alight at Clementi Station and take bridging bus service to Jurong East.

Yea...so trains will stop at bukit gombak eh? but i believe they could stop trains at bukit batok taking account that of a crossover between batok and gombak station and the distance bewteen the stations are quite close by....Nt sure about it..

Well, AFAIK, if they planned to do this, then it would be:
1st train terminates @ Bukit Batok. NB platform of BBT will be closed. SB platform will become NB for time being. There will be one stand-by TO on the TW of SB so that immediately they can go in and take the train towards Bukit Gombak crossover. The TO from MRB / Ang Mo Kio (BSD) will alight the train and prepared to take the next train arriving on BBT.
2nd train terminates @ Choa Chu Kang. It will employ spanish solution like Harbourfront.
3rd train terminates @ Bukit Batok. By the time this train reaches Choa Chu Kang, the 1st train should already be at Bukit Gombak NB platform.
4th train terminates @ Choa Chu Kang. It will employ spanish solution like Harbourfront.
so on and so forth........
Well, it means Bukit Batok bound trains will arrive every 12 minutes on off-peak hours (6 minutes per train) and 8 minutes on peak hours (4 minutes per train). Any sooner than that might not be suitable as the crossover is much nearer to Bukit Gombak than Bukit Batok.
