mmm... seems likely going to have last minute taiji
How is the trains going to proceed beyond Jurong East to Chinese Garden for e 2 days? No need go back to depot?
Waiting time shortened would only be when 22 trains arrive.

then pray no taiji...
1 train rosak, tat's it

Only 2 trains can do so. Wont be enough for entire JKN - LKS. Not to mention LKS - JUR shuttle.
I think it's screwed
That stretch there's seriously no alternate direct bus service to Jurong East
Let's wait and see what happens....IMO, 2 trains park overnight at JKN , Pionner, therefore.... Until the station whereby a loop is required.....
if it's CNG <> JKL @ 4.5 mins freq, at least 7 trains is required.
Park At Station + Park At Over run Lol

wait till the day when i go FR.

FR??? Care To Elaborate?
to maintain a 4.5 minutes frequency on the JUR to JKN side, they will need to park trains at both the overruns and at stations. there shouldnt be anything wrong with parking that way for one or two nights.
if a train fails, frequency will be affected and the faulty train parked at the JKN overrun. if one of the trains have to eventually "tow" the train, we are likely to end up having additional bus bridging services. I wonder if SMRT is prepared for this scenario?
remids me
*ahem* Security *ahem*

Joo Koon is low demand on weekend, 252 can tahan.
BNL - BBT there's 174. To Jurong East there's 198 but would fight w/ neighbourhood ppl for bus.
99 is ideal route but no special branch for this disruption.
But Lakeside, Chinese Garden how?
Taman Jurong to Clementi there's Sv 154.

There's good and bad
ppl at neighbourhood familiar with their bus routes would know how to get away from clustered mess at e MRT stations.
seriously it's not worth to take a feeder, MRT, bridging when I've a direct neighbourhood route to Clementi.
