if you can see on the video, the pipes popping out from the floor are quite high, if the platform screen doors are going to be installed, then they are going to need extremely thick tiles to really cover the protiding pipes. i cannot tell outright since the video is nice but kinda a little bit vague as it did not really show the edge of the platform which is blocked by the barracade, also i did not see much except 2 pipes there on the edge of the platform, normally to my guess this would be installed in a fixed length along the platform side, not just one small area unless LTA have other ways to do the cabling for the half hight platform screen doors.
if you don't catch my meaning. i try to explain like this: every train carriage have lets say 2 doors which are X meters apart, so the same might be applied to the trunking for cables for the half hight platform screen doors, where each pipe at the edge of the platform is X meters away. From what i see from the video , i could only see 2 pipes from the edge of the platform, it could be drainage pipes or cabling pipes , this i can't tell clearly, if it was cabling for the platform screen doors. then there should be a row of it, not just on that small area alone, but as i said , most platform edge is blocked by the barricade, i could be wrong .

I don't see, or maybe, "see" any floor tiles, the main ceiling and the wall tiles up yet, not to mention HHPSD, Fire Extinguisher, ECB and the boards.
As of 03 August 2010 evening 06.00pm
