AFAIK, Temeasek Holdings also holds SMRT / SBST. They hold all 3 local telecos as well.

Erm... The thing is - will the trains run straight through?

Maybe, Maybe not. Since its closure for all tracks except WB tracks. So... you either do crazy train shuttles or do crazy bus shuttles.

Why they must close the Jurong East!!!!????
If that is the case, it would be
EWL: Pasir Ris - Clementi, Joo Koon - Lakeside. (Chinese Garden is possible only with 1 train on either of the platform)
NSL: Marina Bay - Bukit Gombak (Bukit Batok will be the Chinese Garden's version in NSL)
My suggestion is to have a shuttle train in:
EWL: PSR - CLE, CLE - JUR (Middle platform), JUR - LKS (WB), LKS - JKN
NSL: MRB - BGB, BGB - JUR (Only to use NB / WB platform for both direction)

Whether or not, it's already finalised and it's SMRT's decision to close the station for that weekends. No point arguing on alternative methods.

Bus services are going to be crazily affected
Situation is going crazy over the 2 weekends, i think NSL will choose to terminate its services at BGB instead as the crossover is the nearest

You have to consider the fact that Jurong East is a major interchange. terminating services at Bukit Batok without bus replacement is a public relations disaster.
Gahhh Damn LTA!! URA say build glass roof means build glass roof!!! LTA why you ahhh
Build the crap triangle roof thingy arr. =.=
but look at the crossovers. EB trains from CNG turnaround at where? Only Jurong East and the UPD area got suitable crossovers for EWL. Between CNG and JUR, there are NONE!

The red roof structure quite nice what. Very distinctive. Is like CGA's Control Tower...

In JUR. As a DNB service, using the EB EWL tracks?
Unfortunately I dont have that much $$$ to buy a camcorder in this few days, so that I can flim special moments in the train.

Not possible. There is no crossover from CNG to JUR middle platform and using EWL EB tracks = no need to close the station as the affected tracks will be located at the EWL EB tracks.

So they are bascially screwed up and it is time to call them "SMLJ"s.
so anybody knows when are they closing the JE station??
