  My suggestion is..

  to extend DTL

  from Bt Panjang to Choa Chu Kang..

   it will ease the crowd at CCK Station..

  & also ..

  passengers can either take the MRT to Bt Panjang..
  or just take the LRT for those who live in different parts of Bt Panjang/CCK

  It is impossible to make a sharp turn to Bt Panjang LRT Station. So how can the train make another sharp turn to CCK? Won't it be weird from Bt Panjang to CCK. It's like an express LRT skipping all the other stations.

  I suggest further extending DTL to Gali Batu and eventually meet Sugei Kadut (NS6).

  if they really want to do it its not impossible. the extension doesnt need to follow the LRT line, it can go further upwards then make a curved turn towards CCK like the curve from orchard to somerset. but building a MRT link from Bukit Panjang to CCK is like telling them to extend MRT from Harbourfront to Sentosa which is already linked by sentosa express
