  Most of time, I prefer taking train mainly because of the convenience. I will usually take bus whereas the destination is not easily accessible by MRT. However, because there is no direct MRT between my house and office so I take bus daily.

  depends. if a train can get me straight to my destination faster (eg sengkang to harbourfont for where i stay) id take NEL over 80. but if takin a train requires me to walk a distance or bus gets me there more directly then bus it is.

  I prefer trains cos it is very fast and direct (as in it doesnt go here and there) compared to buses. but then I usually have to stand. so actually both is not much better than the other. depends on whether I am rushing I guess.

  A train is much more stable and I can read my books in there without getting much motion sickness. It's faster too. But I do have a lot of friends who hate the MRT. They rather have no MRT with all buses because it's more flexible and easier to introduce the direct express services. (If it was MRT, renovation may be needed to introduce express services.)

  Surely buses for a bus enthusiast like me. Bus have more privacy(esp. DD buses), aircon stronger(MRT like no aircon), the seats are softer and more comfortable and the MRT always very noisy.
