i usually hate the train at orchard. esp evenings. usually just before doors close suddenly got "surge" forward as many ppl kip trying to squeeze. and also got the "end of the day" sweaty sweaty kind of smell. Piangz eh.
and morning trains. the kind that hit u with folders and shoves you around. pek chek.

I see a lot of people pulling stunts by jumping through closing doors all the time, especially during rush hour.

i jus stunt today wif one big slingbag one big carry bag. and try to run across from one train to the other at pasir ris today.
when the west bount train left around 3 seconds then the terminated one open.
stunt like superman man.!

should wait abt 30-50 seconds for town areasthen close door.
Should wait for 1-2 min for city areas during peak hour.

happened to me 2 days ago.the TO rocked. he saw the other train ppl come faster close. door never even open for like 10 seconds.
but rushing for mrt door is UN-NECESSARY for the kancheongrians.

sometime they kancheong until dunno whether shud go in or not. then 1 friend go in door close, 2nd friend stranded outside. pure stupidity.

i especially dont like people who take their own sweet time from outside station, into the station, to the platform(there's LED when u enter the station, LCD panels once u go through the fare-gates and at the platform. u can also HEAR the trains coming at elevated stations... den they go up the escalator and the train doors wanna close, THEN THEY WANNA RUN!!!

Damn du-lan today. At escalator train lai liao then got two fugly lesbian fat fuc*s both hog the escalator then I want to push thru also cannot push. Later they fall down the escalator sure got ppl bones break cuz of their sibeh big body. Then reach like 1m less to the top of escalator hear Ding Dong liao. Then chiong cannot chiong. Reach top, can hear the soothing sound of the C151, then interrupted by the 2 FF's talking like some shit and I kept glaring at them mumbling "F you far fuc*s kan*na chao ch** b*i"
Somemore not peak hour wait for 8mins WTF lah. In the end late for tuition cuz missed bus at TPY... All their effing fault.....

If grown-ups wish to do stunts like this, its entirely their problem. What amazes me is when adults implicate their younger counterparts in similar actions...and then fail spectacularly.
I recently witnessed a mum rushing into the mrt at the last minute, pulling her toddler who was barely able to keep up. Needless to say, she wasent able to pull the toddler into the train on time and the door slammed on his arm. The door bounced back open (if I remember correctly), but the ordeal obviously scarred the wits out of the poor kid and he was wailing uncontrollably for the rest of the journey.
Hope it was a lesson learnt both for the mum and the child! -
Actually nowadays, sometimes the train doesn't wait for stubborn passengers trying to squeeze themselves into the crowded car. They'll just close without warning.
