these days esp after the new announcement format came, the platform warning lights is hardly seen flickering when it ought to

izzit 103/104? anyway 233/234 hav old announcements on NSL. boarded it this morning. so surprised that it still hav old announcements that i almost wanted to cry!

Yes! 215/216 have old annoucements on Eastbound so when I boarded it I also wanted to cry but I recorded down all the old annoucements. Also, 229/230 has old annoucements on both EWL and NSL. 89/90 refurb has old annoucements too. 013/014 unrefurb has old annoucements on EWL but new anoucements on NSL. I believe 017/018 still uses old annoucements. I forgot! boarded 055/056 on NSL also uses old annoucements! -
using full old announcements on every line. 017/018, 053/054, 055/056, 117/118, 229/230 and most C751Bs except 315/316, 327/328 and a few more. the rest have old announcements here and there.
sometime using old announcement the red platform door closing warning light doesnt light up. dunno why.

Apart from 315/316 and 327/328, you mean there are "a few more" C751Bs using new annoucements? Are you sure? -

Are you sure?yes. recently i start school. no chance to take trains. but a few of the C751Bs MIA le. dun tell me u need me to name them out. i believe those go put new announcements. good also, the faster they put, the less they need to worry when the new Pioneer and Joo Koon Stations stat operations. hopefully all get new announcements by June although they sound horrible. i dun like things done half-heartedly. if SMRT wan to implement this announcement system for all SMRT trains, they should do it quickly and not slowly one by one install.
can we not keep drifting away from the topic and start talknig about announcements. even if you dun like it, its gonna be a part of your life, no matter how much u dunwan it. jus get a grip can. shut up and accept the fact. i dun like it also but if you have nothing positive and affirming, kindly keep to yourself. thanks.
