Stones on MRT tracks.

  Have you guys wondered why are there plenty of stones on the MRT tracks but none on the LRT tracks ?

  And what is the purpose for having those stones...

  Rocks are piled up so they tend to have air space in between.

  Had it been something solid, sound waves travel through them..
