  Just now took the new trains (not the refurbished one)... TV still at the side, those display at center all gone liao

  i noe 347/348 dun have. a few 34x series also gone.

  Somehow 347/348 was the only one (i think) that did not have LED installed even though TVs were. Don't know why.

  Some 751Bs had their LED removed? Don't tell me its to streamline the VPIS system, all to one system, since they are to implement the new active route map system later this year. Makes sense...And they seem to be abandoning the LED anyway.

  since they didn't seem to care about the LEDs already, displaying things like "EW27 Boon Lay" at YCK Station and dead pixels, and some not turned on, and some playing a VPIS Test Software Program with tamil, chinese, alphabets and numbers.

  Didn't know a decent LED system can be screwed up so badly and wasted away so easily by SMRT. Those LEDs had potential.
