Anyway, it's confirmed that Marine Parade will have their MRT station on Eastern Region Line.

I think North Shore Line will be built after 2020 if Singapore population is growing steadily. And we can expect another MRT line that serve those area in west not covered by EWL. Saves alot of time on services like 87, 85, 161 and 168. Most probably 87 will be axed, 85 completely withdrawn, and 161/168 axed.
That's if SUCH a line is approved. Now still remains unconfirmed. -
