MRT services between Pasir Ris and Tanah Merah stations disrupted
There are no westbound and eastbound train services between Pasir Ris and Tanah Merah MRT Stations on Monday morning.
SMRT says the disruption was caused by the breakdown of a maintenance works train which was carrying out works between Tampines and Simei MRT stations.
The first eastbound train departing Tanah Merah Station at 5.16am was the first to be affected.
Bus bridging services are now ferrying passengers between Pasir Ris and Tanah Merah MRT Stations.
SMRT expects train services to resume after 11am. — CNA/ch -

haven't resume yet. free transport between the 3 eastside town centres!
anyway the maint truck hit onto something (wat's there in the morning?) out of tampines WB and the front cab sunk. they just tow it back to tampines in case it rains, due to hot weather and that u can't couple and push forward cos the front smashed.
the front cab, window got crack, panel below it came off, radiator bracket hanging.
from SBST we have 982Z, 3652A, 974R, 3573U NAC.
TIB925P, 1107C, 1165J, 974Y, 1099S, 448A, 815Z, 1184D, 446E.
as i'm typing now, the maint truck being tow back to changi by 313/314.

Seems the longest disruption this year and also in recent history...
No KJDEP buses yet? Should be soon lah coming from the west liao, if it worsens...
Wait for evening peak hopefully it clears by then... -
