Sentosa Express Waterfront Station To Be Rebuilt

I don't know if I misunderstood the mypaper report today (a short 30 word or so news article).
From what I understand it says that Waterfront Station will be rebuilt to accomodate the large crowds expected at the IR.
It said that its current station was designed before plans for the IR was confirmed so they had no idea (I dont know why they had no idea) that passenger traffic would get high. So they decided to demolish it and rebuild it.
Even if it were designed for larger crowdes well ain't the other stations still very small in size and trains are still so small?
Anyone has more news on this? -
No excerpt of the article? Maybe what they mean is that they will use the Spanish solution. Essentially two platforms per train on both sides, one side opens to allow people to exit and another opens after to let people from the other platform on.

ETA: I don't see how SDC could not have known. They are under the same Ministry as STB. MTI is in charge of both stat boards. -

The Sentosa Express rail system begun operations last year. One of its stations will be dismantled and rebuilt in conjunction with the construction of Resorts World at Sentosa. The rebuilt station will be part of the design of the IR. -
It was in The New Paper today. I'll try get the picture when I can. The tracks have been boxed up already and they say that the station will be demolished. I'm just thinking of the money wasted. Well, maybe they'll use the Spanish solution and just rebuild the roof... Hopefully.

No wonder. At first everything was up and running including the Platform Screen Doors. Then recently last month for no reason the Waterfront Station was so called dismantled. I thought the station was obstructing the cranes and everything.
