Is sleeping or sitting on the train's floor a problem?

Perhaps the issue(s) should be : Is standing a problem? Why must people sit on the train floor? Their legs are too weak to even stand? Or are these punk-wannabes trying to act cool?

Don't know lor... maximum a train ride takes from one end of the line to the other end is just over an hour only. I read your comments and the question still remains... What's the problem if its not crowded and doesn't cause inconvenience...?
They sit on the door that don't open is ok what as long as they move b4 the doors open in certain station... And if its not crowded they sit also doesn't matter what? -

Legs stand for 1hr mrt ride sure no prob one... but that is never always the case what. If the train is not crowded, then what is the problem with sitting on the seats? Why still choose to sit on the floor? There are 6 cars on the MRT train. If there are no seats in the car you enter and the train is not crowded, what is the problem of going to another car to look for seats?
