NEL annoucements

NEL has new annoucements, upon arrival of a station, the station name would be in English and Chinese. Next stop annoucement is still in English only.
Please mind the platform gap when the train door opens is in 4 languages right now.

I think this one only trial on certain trains, cos just now take NEL don't have.

031/032 has it, currently, 011/012 and 041/042 don't have yet.

025/026 has it. 013/014 and 039/040 don't have yet.

eeeew. sounds so "rushing" and messy.

It sounds okay, and FINALLY the announcements are FRIENDLIER to the ears of our non-english educated elders and overseas friends.
BUT!
They should seriously put a pause between the Clarke Quay Station and the Please Mind The Gap announcements, or its ridiculous because it sounds like how come Clarke Quay Station has so many language translations...
And next station should be in chinese as well, or else this will just be another half hearted attempt, like the 4 language station name signs (which cannot be seen on the large fare maps above ticket machines and overhanging station entrances board).
And if they really want to shorten it slightly, they should just remove "Station" from "Clarke Quay Station" since its not in the chinese version.
Overall, nice change, though definitely its far from being great.
