the judge's fault la coz he screwed up the judgement. might not be coz the prosecutors are too slow. there may be lots of obstacles and procedures to follow in the prosecution appeal and in the process, the convict has already been released and f-off liao.
it look very stupid to sentence a convicted person, lock him up and then after his release, the authorities decided to increase his jail sentence. but if the prosecutors fail to appeal for heavier sentence, this case will set a precedence for future similar offences and the defendant can demand for similar jail sentence.
